Pineapple Pretzel Fluff

Pineapple Pretzel Fluff combines cream cheese, whipped cream, crushed pineapple, and toasted pretzels for texture.

The pretzels give this dessert or side dish a salty crunch with each bite. I also offer Pineapple Fluff without toasted pretzels that you might want to try!

Pretzels: Chop the pretzel twists before toasting in the oven. It only takes 5 minutes, but it's well worth it! Toasting the pretzels will allow them to retain their crunch in the salad longer!

Granulated sugar will be stirred into the cream cheese until creamy. Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature before creaming it with the sugar.

Drain the crushed pineapples first, then fold them in. Alternatively, drain and slice pineapple chunks to use. Fresh pineapple would also be tasty. 

If using fresh pineapple, cut it into small pieces or crush it using a food processor or blender.

Whipped Topping: For this fluff dish, you can use store-bought whipped topping like Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream.

Yes, when the fluff is ready to serve, simply fold in chopped pretzels. However, pre-toasting the pretzels improves their flavor and crunch! Plus, once blended with the fluff, the pretzels will remain crisper for longer!
