Red Velvet Brownie

crimson Velvet Brownies are rich, fudgy brownies with a brilliant crimson hue and plenty of chocolate taste in every bite. They have a trademark shiny, cracked top.

They make for a great treat at any time! Alternatively, due of their crimson coloring, they would be ideal for a special event such as Valentine's Day,

Christmas, or any time you want a splash of color in your dessert! If you're wanting a classic brownie, be sure to check out my BEST brownie recipe!

Chocolate Chips: For these brownies, I used semisweet chocolate chips. Some of them will be melted with vegetable oil and food coloring before being combined with the other components.

This approach improves the moistness, flavor, and texture of the brownies. You can also use dark or milk chocolate chips.

Red liquid food coloring is applied to the chocolate chips and oil before melting. This ensures that the red color is dispersed evenly in the batter. Yes, you can leave away the food coloring and still have great brownies!

Sugar: Granulated sugar and light brown sugar are included in the brownie batter.

Cocoa Powder: I like Dutch-processed cocoa powder for richer-tasting brownies with a darker hue. Using ordinary unsweetened cocoa powder may alter the final taste and look of the brownies.
